The portal dashboard
The portal Dashboard is the practical home of Archer Cloud, with KPI tiles, a Needs attention list, and cards that link into your work orders and trouble spots.
Platform: Portal
The Dashboard is the first item in the portal's left-hand navigation and the practical "home" of Archer Cloud. It gives every signed-in user a quick read on what's open, what's due, and what needs attention for the organisation they're working in — and links straight through to the detail.
Opening the dashboard
The Dashboard lives at /dashboard, and it's available to every logged-in portal user.
- Sign in to the portal and choose the organisation you want to work in.
- In the left-hand navigation, click Dashboard (the top item).

Note: The bare site address
/currently opens the tractor-operations Live View, not the dashboard. To reach the dashboard, use the Dashboard nav item or go to/dashboarddirectly.
What's on the dashboard
The header shows a Today label, the Dashboard title, and an Updated HH:mm time stamp. Use the Refresh button (top right) to reload the latest figures at any time.
Below the header are the KPI tiles, the Needs attention list, and two cards: Work orders and Recent trouble spots.

KPI tiles
Four summary tiles run across the top. Each tile is a link that takes you to the relevant area:
- Open trouble spots — the count of trouble spots that aren't yet complete, with how many were new this week underneath. Opens Trouble spots.
- Active work orders — work orders still in progress, with the number completed underneath. Opens Work orders.
- Due today — active work orders due today, with how many are due in 7 days underneath. Opens Work orders.
- Overdue — active work orders past their deadline, with how many are unassigned underneath. Opens Work orders.
Tiles highlight themselves when their count is worth noticing, so a quick glance tells you where to look first.

Needs attention
The Needs attention card pulls together the items most likely to need a follow-up — overdue work orders, work orders due today, and a summary of open trouble spots. Each row links straight to that item (an individual work order, or the trouble spots area).
When there's nothing pressing, the card shows a friendly empty state ("Nothing urgent right now.") instead.

Work orders card
The Work orders card lists your active work orders (up to five), each with its deadline label and a progress bar showing completed versus total spots.
- Click a row to open that individual work order.
- Use the arrow in the card header to open the full Work orders area.
If there are no active work orders, the card explains that work is created from trouble spots when there's something to assign. For the full workflow, see Work orders.

Recent trouble spots card
The Recent trouble spots card shows trouble spots reported in the last week (up to six), each with its type and the time and reporter.
- Click any row, or the arrow in the card header, to open the full Trouble spots area.
If nothing's been reported recently, the card says so. For reporting, reviewing, and completing trouble spots, see Trouble spots.

Where to go next
- Work orders — create, assign, and track work.
- Trouble spots — report, review, and complete trouble spots in the field and the portal.
